1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to the Chrome Extension "ReplyPilot X" (hereinafter referred to as "this extension" or "we"). If website or server features are added in the future, this policy will be updated before launch.

2. What Data We Process

Zero Collection Version (Local Processing Only, Never Uploaded):

• Local Reading: When you click the extension button on X (Twitter) pages, the extension locally reads the rendered tweet text, tweet ID, and language from the current page within your browser, for local generation of reply candidates or constructing the official posting window (twitter.com/intent/tweet).
• No Collection/No Transmission: The above content will not be sent to any of our servers, nor will it be stored, shared, or sold by us.
• Local Storage: We only use chrome.storage to save your preferences (e.g., language, tone, rate limiting switches). These preference data are stored locally in your browser and contain no personally identifiable information.

3. Permissions and Usage Explanation

• activeTab: Only reads rendered text and tweet ID from your currently active X/Twitter tab; becomes invalid when you leave the page.
• scripting: Injects UI components (buttons, panels) into X/Twitter pages to provide visible features; does not inject third-party scripts or execute remote code.
• storage: Used to save local preferences and rate limiting parameters; does not store sensitive personal data.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not share, sell, or rent your personal data to any third parties. This extension does not rely on analytics/advertising SDKs and does not set third-party tracking cookies.

5. Security and Compliance

• All generation and sending operations are triggered by your active clicks. The extension has rate limiting and similarity deduplication enabled by default to avoid homogeneous or harassing interactions.
• The extension does not automatically like, follow, comment, or perform bulk operations in the background.
• We comply with the Chrome Web Store "Limited Use" policy: processing necessary information locally only to provide/improve user-visible features, for compliance or security purposes, and not using data for advertising profiling or sharing with third parties for independent use.

6. Your Choices and Control

• You can modify or reset local preferences in the extension settings, or disable/remove this extension from your browser's extension management page.
• To clear local data: Type chrome://extensions in the address bar → Find this extension → Click "Details" → "Extension options" (if available) or remove the extension; or clear site data in browser settings.

7. Minors

This extension is intended for adults and professional users, not for individuals under 13 years of age (or minors as defined by your local law). If you believe we have inadvertently processed information from a minor, please contact us for prompt handling.

8. Changes to This Policy

If features or regulations change, we will update this policy. Significant changes will be announced in the extension update log or website announcements. Continued use indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
